The Shanghai Customs launched "direct customs clearance" innovation pilot of international exhibition to support the healthy development of Shanghai culture exhibition industry. Shanghai Customs carries out customs declaration of special exhibit such as high-value works of art in advance, directly examines on the spot in order to improve the efficiency of customs clearance and provide high-efficient and convenient service for culture communication. They formulated “large-scale clearance activities of monitoring program” and set up special customs clearance windows and channels to implement quick guarantee and booking customs clearance for cultural exchange activities.

According to FDA reporting, the American FDA announced “imported food declaration in advance” regulation
(provisional) was enforced on September 6. In the final regulation (provisional), FDA required that imported food or pet food and the country name refused to enter into by FDA need to be informed to FDA in advance.
