IAG Cargo and bmi Cargo are delighted to announce today that following the purchase of bmi by International Airlines Group (IAG), bmi Cargo will become part of the IAG Cargo single business unit.

In the short term, bmi Cargo sales and operations will continue as normal, and will report into IAG Cargo. The summer 2012 schedule is planned to operate as published. bmi's Cargo operation is highly successful in its own right, and will continue to manage existing customer and supplier relationships.

Over time, it is proposed that the business of bmi Cargo will transfer to IAG Cargo, and customers will benefit from an integrated range of products and access to a wider network, giving one global network with a single sales contact point in every market and consistent customer experience around the world.

One of the most important aspects of this is that our customers experience a continued high level of contact at all levels. This process will take time, and it is critical throughout this period that you experience a high level of consistency in your communication.
